CARB
Price: $400
Computerized
Assessment of Response Bias (CARB) is an efficient culture fair assessment for
detecting and documenting suboptimal performance (poor/incomplete effort,
symptom validity/exaggeration, feigning and malingering). Supported by numerous
peer-review publications, and required or recommended by numerous insurance
companies, worker’s compensation boards and the Social Security Disability
Administration, CARB is the ultimate FCDRT for use in compensation-related
assessment (compare with the PDRT, Hiscock & Hiscock & VSVT).

RRI
Price: $Free (See Special to left)
The
Resourcefulness for Recovery Inventory (RRI) is a broadly applicable assessment
for patients dealing with a myriad of adverse situations and conditions.
Although designed and developed to assist Rehabilitation Psychologists with
assessment and treatment, the RRI has obvious applicability in medical disease
management and other situations in which patients must confront severe
psychological stresses such as the death of a loved one, difficult divorce or
other losses. The RRI is a 239 item self-report questionnaire based on a
symmetrical and bipolar conceptualization of an individual’s response to stress.
Adversity often triggers specific behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and
physiological responses which may be either adaptive or maladaptive coping
responses in a variety of domains assessed by the RRI. It is our belief that
adaptive behavior results from a person’s ability to override or compensate for
illness, physical weakness, real world problems or emotional problems for the
purpose of minimizing their impact and maximizing the desirable outcomes or
optimal behavior. More--

MHI
Price: $300
The
Multifactor Health Inventory (MHI) provides a rapid assessment of a wide variety
of stress-related symptoms. Based on a factor analytically-derived study of
somatic symptoms, the clinically-validated 111 item questionnaire assesses
psychophysiological and psychological symptoms, screens for substance abuse and
psychiatric problems, and measures health attitudes and other traits related to
outcome and compliance. The MHI is especially useful in providing a quick scan
of problem areas and has been employed in multiple settings, including pain
assessment, biofeedback, and primary care. The MHI takes only 10 minutes to
administer and is an excellent instrument for initial patient evaluation,
charting treatment progress, and assessing individual and group outcomes.
